Brazilian Telecab has launched Multiscreen OTT service based on Smartlabs solution

Smartlabs, the leading provider of multi-screen solutions for video streaming, today announces that Brazilian telecommunications company Telecab has successfully launched its cutting-edge Multiscreen OTT service running on Smartlabs SmartTUBE OTT cloud solution.

Telecab is an established telecommunications market player with thousands of customers in more than 60 municipalities across the states of Rio Grande do Norte, Ceará, and Paraíba. Telecab’s team was exploring the opportunities to expand the operator’s portfolio with TV services and the ways to empower its’ strategic growth by conquering new regions of the country.

After evaluating three different vendors’ offerings, Telecab chose Smartlabs’ package, which included SmartTUBE – a service management solution, iOS and Android Mobile Device Apps, SmartTV Apps (for Samsung, LG, and Android TV SmartTVs), and a content protection solution.

In Q4 2022 Smartlabs is also planning to deliver its cutting-edge STBs, so Telecab’s customers will be able to enjoy all the new TV services and capabilities of the modern device.
