Smartlabs Fuels StarNet’s Next-Gen Multi-Screen Streaming Experience

Berlin, 28th of August 2025 – Smartlabs, a leader in interactive video streaming solutions, has successfully completed the upgrade of Moldavian StarNet’s nationwide video streaming platform StarNet TV, delivering a feature-rich multi-screen experience to their subscribers.
Built on the powerful Smartlabs SmartTUBE Ultra service delivery platform, the new solution brings together the full Smartlabs ecosystem: applications for Android set-top boxes, mobile devices (Android, iOS), Smart TVs, Amazon FireTV, and web browsers.
Legacy Linux STBs have been seamlessly integrated to operate within the new environment. Subscribers now enjoy a significantly enhanced experience with a redesigned UI, advanced channel filtering, Chromecast support, EPG video previews and other improvements.
SmartCARE, Smartlabs’ advanced quality monitoring and analytics tool, is also part of the deployment, enabling StarNet to track service performance and user engagement in real time.
